Double D, not to be confused with Double T

I ran during dawn (DD) this morning and it was absolutely beautiful.  Amazingly someone else was out.  They were putting their boat in the lake.  It is going to be a beautiful day for that!

The temp was nice and cool, birds chirping and generators around were humming.  For some reason, we lost power just before I left the house.

The run was GREAT!!  I told Kate it takes  me a day for every mile after a long run to feel myself again and today was the day!  I did my ''over the other side'' at a decent for me clip.  I'll start now adding on distance Stone Cat and put together a training plan of some sort!

I have been running as I knew I would soon get my mojo back, but haven't blogged.  I meant to blog after the Stone Cat sign up, but that took the life out of me and haven't blogged since.  After my runs in the morning,  I've been on Dog Duty (DD) as my neighbor friend is going through a rough patch.  For an 80 year old she's quite active. She walks Cricket several times a day, but injured her leg bowling and one thing has led to another and she isn't herself and can't get out of the house.  So I've been doing my best to help her out and DD it is.

George has been plugging away training for VT.  He couldn't resist and bumped himself up to the 100 miler from the 100K.  We've booked a B&B which the owner told us is right before Camp 10 Bear, so I'm looking forward to having a great spot to see racers.

Keep dreaming!
