Tarcing it on a Classically Spring Day!

We  signed up for the Spring Classic with an amazing ''thank you'' from TARC for volunteering at the TARC100.  Pretty cool they recognize their volunteers with such a gracious offer.

It was really great to be running the trails in Weston on such a beautiful sunny day.  Experiencing dry trail conditions to say the least was a treat, but to have bridges over the beloved mud pits even better.

It was a steady forward motion for me, with a few overwhelming feelings of  ''how great is this'' thrown in for a really nice day.

I enjoyed spending time with Tami, Mandy and had a great time chatting with Laurie while she waited for Martin and I waited for the Jedi.  It's always fun to see the GAC'ers enjoying the trails and others we typically see at the events.  So many good times!

A great way to spend a Saturday and the start of a new season!

Hoping your day was full of smiles and trails!

It's Pollen

Running along, wearing my Birthday New Direction vest, birds chirping, tunes playing through a blue tooth speaker it was wonderful!

I thought to myself, wow there is pollen out there already.  White little things were floating in front of me.  Oh well, I can pretend it was pollen.  As Bob Dion wrote on FB yesterday, it's really early for winter.  It was snow.  Oh but it was pretty, calming and quiet.  I liked it.

Hope your day is pretty, calming and quiet.

I've missed you Microspikes

It's really been the last week or so I've run without microspikes.  It has seemed so strange to run without them.

I woke up and thought it was raining and cold.  Until just before heading out, I looked out and I realized it was snowing and a few inches of snow at that.  For good measure after consulting with The Jedi, I wore my microspikes.  It felt natural once again to run with them.  However, that only lasted a short time.  With the snow being wet, it clunked all up on the microspikes.  Oh well, embrace what is..and that was that is was absolutely beautiful out.  As I sorted through stuff in my head that woke me up super early, it was all great.

Wishing you a day of embracing what is and hoping it is all great!

Skipped the Mountain

Skipped the mountain hiking yesterday as conditions were likely postholey.  Got out for an uneventful around the 'hood run.

Today will do multiple runs while Jedi keeps it going throughout the day.  We already helped a 4 wheeler find her glasses she lost yesterday.  I ran into her and she told me.  I bumped into Jedi heading back and told him and he had seen them, so we were able to tell her as she circled back.  Seemed she had just gotten them and they were quite expensive.  It made me happy to be able to help her out!

Scatter some kindness on the trails today if you can.

Should've, would've, could've

It would have been easy not to go out this morning as it still seems so cold in the morning dark.  I am so happy I went out and did the up and around and Pace.

The road was frozen making it much more pleasant than the crazy mud yesterday.  It was awesome seeing the moon as I headed back home.  Really was able to zone in the dark and total quiet.  Loved it!

Someone once told me, ''when you should've (s), you are should've (s) all over yourself''...so true, so true.
